7th Annual "Singing for a Cure" Benefit Concert

The performance features members of the New Jersey Youth Chorus Young Men’s Ensemble, directed by JD Burnett and Summit Middle School’s Bel Canto Choir, directed by Christopher Wolff. Performing solo are “Singing for a Cure” founder Kenneth Bryson, tenor and 2010 co-producer Jody Mullen, soprano. The young choral singers will present a diverse selection of music from around the world, while Mr. Bryson and Ms. Mullen will perform works from favorite operas and songs by American composer Aaron Copland. Luau Party to Defeat ALS! Come Support Theta Xi Long Branch Walk

ALL the money raised will be going to The Joe Pettinato Team for the Walk to Defeat ALS Association Fundraiser for the Greater New York Chapter. There will be a $5 cover charge/donation to enter There will be $5 50/50 tickets sold at the event, and the drawing will be held at approximately 11 PM There will be $1 carnival/raffle tickets sold during the event to win random door prizes every 15-20 minutes. Door prizes consist of hats, shirts, popcorn air popper, blow up chair, packaged nuts, popcorn, and anything else we can get our hands on.

We will be passing around "Donation Baseballs". They are a minimum of $1, and your name will be hung on the wall. THERE WILL BE KARAOKE ALL NIGHT LONG. There will be food served in a buffet style for everyone who comes!! $$ .50 cents from each drink will also go towards the Fight for ALS! $$ We will have a frozen drink machine, to celebrate the Luau Beach Party Theme, and there will be multiple contests, which may include, a Hula dance-off and A "craziest Hawaiian shirt" contest!
